Our mission
Awareness is only the start. We turn it into care, funding, and policy.
We work on several fronts at once. We raise money for people facing cancer, intensive care, and severe mental health disparities. We also advocate in schools and local government so the next generation has real access to mental health resources.
It started close to home. UYC established McDowell High School's mental health week in Pennsylvania, and the work has since spread across 5 states and 3 other countries.

Four ways we show up
Patient Funding
We raise money for people fighting cancer and for those facing severe mental-health disparities, so that cost isn't the thing standing between them and care.

Time in intensive care is hard on patients and the people who love them. We fund and organize support for ICU patients and their families.

We push schools to set aside a mental-health week and work with local representatives to draft mental-health curriculum, giving more communities access to real resources.
